Even though it is a quick bowl of udon kind of place. The cold udon is out of this world with the tempura chicken and tempura 🥠. (even if the weather is cold order the cold one. It's much much better than the hot udon) It's really tasty and at 530 yen super great value. Order on the machine maybe a bit difficult if you don't know any Japanese (you can use google translate camera function) but order the big button with picture on top which is the recommended dish.
So dirty, such terrible service, such good udon.
A well-known (for the natives) reasonable stand udon restaurant. The quality is very high. You expect some queue almost all the time. Open 24h.
This Udon noodles is very al dente and tasty. You have to wait in line for some minutes because this restaurant is small. But this is stand-up eating Uson noodles one, so the line is moving quickly.
When I go to Gotanda, I drop by.I ate hot and cold, but I personally like the cold one because I can feel the firmness of the udon.Toriten is not the usual sashimi, but it's like deep-fried chicken, like a deep-fried chicken. It's soft and juicy, it's really delicious! There are many male customers, so it makes me a little nervous to enter by one woman, but if you focus on the deliciousness of the udon while watching the staff's dexterity, you will be so satisfied that you forget such things. It seemed like they were taking out too!
Order the noodles with the birds cooled. The garments are crispy and the inside is soft. Udon is stiff. The juice is salty and light. The counter is U-shaped and you can enter from the left and right entrances, but the shop staff will tell you from right or left. If you buy a meal ticket and the store is full, line up from the signboard on the side of the sidewalk in front of the store. Evaluation of price, location and taste is subtle. Slightly better than Marugame, but not so different.
Authentic and delicious Udon, made fresh right in front of you. There isn't any english, but you order using the machine outside, wait to be called in, and place your ticket on the table. You eat while standing, but the warm belly is worth it.
Humble and basic! But it is the real strength generating deep and genuine taste, like any other great things. Strongly recommended!
Good fastfood
A popular store where you can stop by after drinking. It's great to eat udon until midnight! cheap! good! Hey! A group of three satisfying third generation elements.
The soup is very tasty. This would be a cozy small place in cold days.
Gotanda's popular udon restaurant Onyanma. The texture of the udon is as chewy and chewy as that of Kagawa. What is different from the general udon shop in Kagawa is soup stock. Of course, Kagawa also has an ingenious soup stock udon shop, but in general, there are many places that serve soup stock that is close to mentsuyu, or worse, soy sauce. By comparison, Oniyama's broth is round and gentle with a gentle Japanese flavor. The udon itself is at an average level, but it may have been the sensibility that created the best match soup with udon. The information on the tickets bought at the vending machine is immediately reflected in the kitchen, so even if it is crowded, the turnover is fast. Considering the ease of eating in front of an urban station, it is a shop where you can get a lot of satisfaction.
The tastiest, fastest and cheapest udon in town. A nice little haven for tired salarymen
It may be a bit difficult to understand how to use the first visit. After buying a voucher at a ticket vending machine, they line up in a line in front of the store. If you come to the very front of the line, you will be called when the customer comes from inside, so enter the shop and give out a meal ticket. Then you will immediately get what you ordered. The service is not polite and the udon itself is reasonably good, but tempura is a first-class product. If you eat a bite of crunchy tempura, you will surely not regret it.
Delicious udon, special experience
Smooth and crisp, fried noodles with freshly tempura.A large serving of udon noodles is enough, but the tempura is also delicious, starting with chicken tempura. However, what is clearly different from the time of the opening is that the soup stock that should have been delicious has been turned into something with a strong salty taste. To boil Tsuyu? Or shouldn't we stop putting the fire so that the snow pan is wrapped in blue?Cold is a stable taste, cold and chicken is the best.I can't wait for summer ...
Quick and average lunch that can find anywhere. ps. It’s a standing udon shop.
I found the best Udong in Tokyo ! At the beginning since I found this place, I cam here 3-4 times per week. The price is very reasonable, taste is also great. Especially the ã¡ãã‚ is really nice !! I love here so much.
We tried the cold udon. It was good on a hot day. The fried stuff are crispy and tasty. Ambiance is nil but it's an experience just like the locals. I would come back. Average cost 300-500 yen per person and that will get you full!
Fast, cheap, delicious, and authentic. Stand up only. No english menu.
Best udon I have ever had! Service was good and tempura was really delicious! I highly recommend this place! The only downside is there are no seats and the lines can get quite long
Partitioned by two foreigners,Boil the noodles in large quantities,It is immersed in water. There is no koshi. The soup is still delicious,Kosi is the life of udon. . .I don't want to eat Funafyu Noodles. . .It is very disappointing.
Oishii!
Very authentic local taste. Affordable, quick comfort foods. Not open on sunday
Amazingly affordable udon that is tasty as well. Noodles are served within 2 minutes, and you'll have to eat while standing up. Try the premium tempura udon (Â¥500+) which includes 2 prawns, chicken, and vegetables. Don't forget to slurp up the soup too!
Best udon in town 🔥🔥🔥
Local food in a local atmosphere !!! Just order at the machine , slurp your udon and leave the place. There are various choices for all tastes if you can read Japanese. Would recommend!!
Famous standing meal noodle shop.Buy a voucher, line up in front of the store, and when called, enter through the left and right doors (there is a U-shaped surrounding the kitchen). It is just salted soup stock, and there is tempura in it. Sanuki udon seems to be a kitchen in China? Korea? The Japanese were carrying the flour. When I ordered the special tempura udon, the recommended tori-ten and chikuwa-ten were not listed, but the other ingredients (pork, carrot, shrimp, etc.) were delicious enough as tempura.Next, I want to eat Toriten and Chikuwaten cold.It is an old-fashioned but efficient shop.
There's usually a line as not a lot of people can fit into the standing area of the store, but the food is served really fast so the wait isn't terrible. The udon is really good and very reasonably priced for the amount you get. Additional fried items can be ordered separately, accents the plain udon very well.
We have trouble ordering from the machine because no translation. We randomly picked our food. I got a hot udon with squid, chicken and meat tempura. Udon is chewy and dense, but the tempura are quite greasy. There are self-serve water. It is a small restaurant and have stand up to eat the udon. We have to wait outside and let them call us to go in for our food. Food came very quickly. During lunch time there is a long line up.
Stand-up noodle shop that is open from 7 am to 3 am. The inside of the store is miscellaneous, but there is no filth. The size of whether 10 people can do it. We had a warm tempura udon on a winter morning. 500 yen with shrimp, carrots and toriten. Dashi is clear Kansai-style, noodles are thin and smooth and easy to eat. Tempura feels soft and plump, rather than freshly fried and crispy. Even the clothes are delicious, and the rotation of the noodles, soup and tempura goes on comfortably.
The taste has dropped dramatically.About three or four years ago, the taste began to fluctuate (depending on the staff in charge), and my legs withdrew, but the other day I was invited by a friend and reluctantly went to eat.I ordered cold chicken tempura bukkake, but the noodles were not too moist and the tempura didn't have the crispy feel of the past. When I first moved to Gotanda 10 years ago, I used to eat breakfast as well, but this downfall is very disappointing.
Affordable price. Went at a correct time and able to get in without queue, about 10am. Recommends chicken tempura as it’s delicious and portion size is just nice for a fair breakfast. First is to Order ( ticket purchase) then get in line. Once being cued, get in via either the left or right door, depending on your place. Once you are ready, place the purchased ticket at the top of your table on the counter and they’ll pick up and make your noodles! This place only has standing counter, with water server. Does not recommend bringing baby/toddler.
Good japanese Udon noodles. If you have a japanese friend, You should try to have it.
Fast service, deliscious udon! Tempura was also delicious. I would highly recommended for a fast meal. I got the ¥530 regular size udon.
It's good, but i cant understand why it is so famous. Place is small and cramped.
Good food, best price
GREAT CHEWY UDON (best cold) with crisp juicy chicken tempura (which are warm). The broth is also light and refreshing without leaving you parched after downing it. Only downside is the vending machine ordering system that doesn't have any translation. Get help if you need!
I think it's a level that works well even if you're doing it in Kagawa. It's a pity that Kamaage udon is not on the menu! !! I want to go again.
I don't see any Japanese clerk at Gotanda store for some reason.Line up after purchasing vouchers at the vending machine. After all the heaven is delicious for Kake Udon.Because the store is small, you can have a line outside, but when the seats are vacant, they are called by the store's people and enter the store, basic one by one wwwStanding at the counter around the kitchen. An open kitchen where you can see everything!Because the shop is small, I sometimes bring down the ladder from the top and bring noodles from the second floor. There are no photos inside the store. It's not air that can be photographed.Everyone is eating seriously.
Delicious spot. Quick service. Put bag in bin on floor. Delicious meals for less than 600 yen.
Popular noodle restaurant! The Gotanda store is small but functional, and udon is handmade.Recently, there are many branches, and there are more beautiful stores to sit down. A beautiful store for the same price! I think some people are here, but I am the best here. Vigor also plays a role in the taste.
Usually not a fan of udon but this place is really good. Ordered a hot udon, received within 3 minutes. Despite getting fried stuff, the meal didn't feel too heavy. The broth is delicious too. All for under 700 yen!
By far the best udon I have ever had. Have been back numerous times now. Fast service and great tempura
The ticket vending machine is somewhat unique, and it is difficult for first-time visitors to understand because the menu will not be completed unless the order decision button at the bottom right is pressed after deciding the menu.Tempura is always freshly fried and crispy. The key udon is a level that you can eat anywhere. It tastes good when it's cold, but it's a bit disappointing when you eat it warm.
Cold udon is warm...
*** Great Sanuki-udon place in Tokyo ***If you love Sanuki style udon, you can't miss this tiny udon stand near Gotanda station. The restaurant usually has a waiting queue in front of it though, you can soon enter as udon doesn't take much time to eat.Oni-yanma also has several stores in Tokyo, i.g. Shimbashi.
Taste is delicious. But i will not recommend this place if you are not familiar with japanese culture. Rules are difficult even if Japanese.
